Good morning, No-Pantsers! Welcome to Day 2 of The Summer of No Pants! I hope you all had a lovely Memorial Day weekend! My first guest is Sarah E. White. Sarah is a is a professional crafter, writing mostly in the knitting genre for sites at About.com and CraftGossip.com. She also writes on her personal blog, Our Daily Craft. Today she brings you a post about sewing for yourself, especially if you are used to only sewing for kids, plus a really easy skirt tutorial. Here’s Sarah!:
Hi, everyone! I’m Sarah from Our Daily Craft, which is all about crafting with and for kids and encouraging women to be more creative. So really a partnership with SONP is perfect, because its all about encouraging women to take the time to sew for themselves. If that’s not something you’re used to, this post is for you. I talk about why its so important to make for yourself and give you some ideas about how to take baby steps into sewing for adults. You’ll also find the simplest no pattern “pattern” for a women’s skirt you’ve probably ever seen. So grab some fabric and start sewing for yourself!
